Growing up, my family moved a lot between the US and Japan. It was a unique upbringing, but I now have a deep appreciation for both Japanese and US culture and feel fortunate to have experienced both.

After graduating from Bucknell University, I briefly pursued a music career in Japan for a couple years while working in construction and various other odd jobs. I came back to the US in 2008 to study design in Boston and subsequently worked for a number of years at a couple of small game startups. During this time I also independently developed three iOS titles. In 2013, I joined DraftKings as one of their first 40 employees and for the next 12 years I saw the company grow exponentially. I wore many hats including graphic design, programming and motion design where I managed a small team. I am currently  independently working on a pickleball app called PickleCrunch. Please check it out here: https://picklecrunch.app/

I am an active pickleball player, love playing music, snow-hiking, traveling and going on adventures with my wife and two Shiba-Inus, Pudding and Oppa (below).
