Flock is a multiplayer word puzzle game for iPhone and iPad. The setup is simple: sixteen words, four hidden categories, and you sort them into four groups of four by figuring out what connects them. My twist was to build the whole thing around playing with other people, since that's always more fun to me than solving a puzzle alone.
Flock has several multiplayer modes. An asynchronous mode in the spirit of Words with Friends, where you and another player take turns at your own pace and race across a board. A live mode for up to six people on separate devices who join a shared room with a code, play the same round together, and roll to move ahead. And a same-device mode where the screen splits, one side flipped upside down, so two teams can go head to head in person.
I've always loved games, board games, Pictionary, Scrabble, all of it, and the fun of playing them with family and friends. Flock is my ode to that. It was also my first iPhone and iPad game shipped using an entirely AI-driven workflow, and a real deep dive into what the tooling can do.
